My 2019 Infiniti QX60's rear hatch keeps closing on its own after I open it, especially on slight inclines. It caught me off guard while loading groceries with my toddler nearby. I'm worried that this might happen again with my toddler inside the car. Has anyone dealt with this? Is it a sensor issue or something mechanical?

That shouldn't happen and you might want to look into the problem. I'd start with the sensor below the bumper. Dirt and grime gets stucka nd can fool the sensor, so star with that and see if it happens again.
