side mirror whistling a common issue

I've had my 2024 qx60 for a couple of months now but I took it only recently to the dealer so they can fix the whistling noise coming from the side mirror. The guy said they'll replace the mirror assembly since mine is still under warranty but also warned me it's a common issue. My car is still at the shop so I can't give further updates. But if they know it's a common issue, why do they keep producing the same quality?

Hmph, funny enough you'd think they'd revise the part by now, but automakers don't always prioritize minor aero noise if it doesn't affect safety or performance. Cost saving or slow engineering updates, most likely
